Fourth generation bowler wins second annual Ron Buck Singles

Joshua Sayer, a fourth generation lawn bowler was the only undefeated player at the second Annual Ron Buck Singles held this year in Williamsburg, Va. Josh uses his great-grandfather, Ray Sayer's bowls. He is pictured here playing a doubles tournament two weeks later at DuPont where he played lead on the third place team with Patrick Duffy, a second generation bowler who skipped. Patrick's dad Charlie and Josh's great-grandfather had many great matches over their careers.

Duncan Farrell does it again

The first annual Ron Buck singles was won by Duncan Farrell of Essex County LBC who went undefeated in the 22 person field winning his six games and a playoff. The tournament was held at Ron Buck's home club of DuPont CC LBC. Ron was a great competitor in the Northeast winning many tournament titles and representing the division in the US Championships.
