2017 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE: LADIES' PAIRS REPRESENTATIVES

As of 9/19/17, the runner-up team of Veronica Sum and Frances Shen of Essex County LBC will now be representing the NED in the Ladies' Pairs at the National Championships at the end of the month, for Doreen Alexander and Eileen Luba of Frick Park. Eileen has made a tough decision to pull-out of the Championships due to some health issues. We wish the best for Eileen for a speedy recovery and a strong comeback!

2017 NED OPEN...IN THE NEWS
During our 2017 Northeast Division Open from August 26 to 31, 2017, we received some great local news coverage in both print and TV about our sport on two of our beautiful venues in the Poconos, Skytop and Buck Hill Falls. On our last day of the NED Open singles at Skytop, Veronica Sum, NED President and Colin Smith, NED Tournament Director and VP, were interviewed by the largest news channel in the Poconos...very cool!
