Northeast Division - Bowler of the Year
NED Bowler of the Year (BOY)
How Bowler of the Year is Determined....
At each event on the NED calendar, points are awarded for finishing in the first 4 positions (if determined). 10 points for 1st, 8 points 2nd, 5 points for 3rd and 3 points for 4th. Points are accumulated throughout the year and an award is made to the top player based upon points at the end of the year or at the first event the following year. An award is also given to the best Player in each Decade. Starting in 2018 we will no longer award BOY points for the Play-downs and the top 10 players at end of the NED Open will automatically qualify for selection into the East Coast Challenge team should that player apply. Also receiving selection will be the Play-down winners. East Coast Challenge is an annual Team event against the Southeast Division. Each division selects 15 players to play in 3 groups of 5 over 2 days in Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours. |
