"We welcome you to the DuPont Lawn Bowls Club" 
Bowls truly is the sport for all regardless of age, sex or physical ability. It is a sport that takes just seconds to learn - and the rest of your bowling career to master. Walt Disney, George Washington and Sir Francis Drake are among some of the famous lawn bowlers. Think of any town with "GREEN" in their name, and now think that our sport was played there in some early form.

The Lawn Bowls Club is managed and operated by its members in a friendly and warm environment. We are supportive of each other and welcoming to guests, DuPont club members, and a variety of corporate and family outings we host throughout the season.

Our green holds eight individual grass rinks in either direction. We are pleased to tell you they are manicured by DuPont’s greens crew led by John Klempa. Since taking over several years ago, our playing surface has regularly improved.

In addition to Lawn Bowls, the Green is home to a Croquet group as well. The larger Country Club offers additional sports including golf and tennis, as well as a well thought of dance program.  Inside the main clubhouse are a variety of meeting and party rooms to suit any occasion. Dining for members and guests is on the lower level in one of several rooms or the porch.

The green is open spring through fall, as long as the weather cooperates.
DuPont C.C. LBC hosted the first ever Ron Buck Singles, named after one of our own who passed away in 2011. Ron was well known in the U.S. and Canada having won many championships. The Northeast Division honored Ron by naming a new tournament after him. Ron's wife Betty Lou (center holding plaque) was on hand for the inaugural event. Club News & Events...
  • Bowling is generally from May through October
  • In the Summer - June through September: Group play is available at 9:25 am on Tuesday - Thursday - Saturday 
  • During the shoulder seasons, we begin at 1:00 pm.  
  • Other times can be available when a DLBC member can come out. We would like to have an after work time, if people would like to come out.  Just ask.
DuPont regularly hosts at least one Northeast Division event each year. 


In 2015, we will be hosting the Ron Buck singles, named after one of DuPont’s late, great members. Event date: June 13 & 14, 2015
