Dear Division Presidents and Secretaries,
It is with pleasure that I announce that the USLBA Council has voted to adopt Bowls USA as our
new name and the logo above for our organization going forward. Please share this news
widely with the membership in your Division and use the new name in your future
correspondence.
This is an exciting time for bowls in the United States. With leadership from Marketing Director,
Neil Furman, the Council is hard at work on a five-year strategic plan. We are developing a new
web presence to fit our new name. We are also focusing on resources for our members such as
the Australian Coaching Video which we recently distributed to all clubs. Stay tuned for future
developments.
I look forward to regular correspondence with your over the next two years and to working
with the Divisions to further develop the sport we all love.
