Bowler Of The Year
How Bowler of the Year is Determined
At each event on the NED calendar, points are awarded for finishing in the first 3 positions.
10 points for 1st
8 points 2nd
5 points for 3rd
1 point for participation
Points are accumulated throughout the year and an award is made to the top player based upon points at the end of the year or at the first event the following year. Additionally, an award is given to the best Player in each Decade.
*Starting in 2018 we will no longer award BOY points for the Play-downs
Playdown winners will automatically qualify for selection into the East Coast Challenge team should that player apply.
